Sunset Tour
Paddle with us into the sunset! Our sunset kayak tours depart daily in the late afternoon and are the perfect way to end the day! Enjoying the long shadows of the last light of day, we will paddle with seals and sea birds and watch spectacular alpen-glow colors paint the icy flanks of Mt. Baker! This is a special time to be on the water, because no one else is. Griffin Bay is a great vantage point for views of the Olympic Mountains and the setting sun falling behind the fields and forests on San Juan Island! The serenity will stay with you for days! Experienced, knowledgeable and friendly guides and quality equipment will insure a safe and memorable voyage! These trips fill up fast, so reserve early!

We use only quality fiberglass sea kayaks and equipment. No plastic kayaks or paddles are used on our tours!

Duration – 3 hours. Sunset tours meet/ depart from the ferry terminal in Friday Harbor at 6:30 PM daily; return at 10 PM

What We Supply – quality sea kayaks and gear, ThermaRest seat cushions, complimentary dry bags, services of an experienced and friendly guide, transportation from the ferry to the launch site and return
What You Bring – rain coat, wet shoes if you’ve got them, ie. sandals w/ heal strap, aqua socks, wet suit booties or old tennis shoes, warm hat and gloves, layered clothing(Capilene, polypropylene, fleece, etc.), snacks to share with the group, one liter of water per person, camera, binoculars, sunscreen, lip salve, sun hat
Cost – $65 per person plus 7.8% sales tax. Full payment is due upon receipt of your registration form.
Cancellations – more than seven days before departure a full refund minus a $25 cancellation fee. Less than seven days before departure full payment is retained.
