MULTI-DAY TRIP COSTS (for guided trips-schedule above)
The total cost for a 2010 San Juan Islands guided, kayak expedition per person is:
3-Day Coastal Explorer ………….$520.00
4-Day Islands Adventurer ………….$620.00
Guided trip fees include services of your guide, pick up and return to the ferry dock in Friday Harbor, breakfasts and dinners, two-person sea kayaks, all boating gear, two-person tents, cooking gear and rain tarp. Sleeping bags and pads can be rented for a nominal fee.
KAYAK RENTAL COSTS (for self-guided trips-your own dates)
Summer 2010 Rental Rates………….$80.00 (per day per double kayak for multi-day rentals)
Summer 2010 Rental Rates………….$90.00 (for single day rentals)
Please add 7.8% state sales tax for rentals only.
To secure your space on my guided trip or your rental kayak(s), a 50% deposit via credit card is due upon receipt of your registration form. The balance is due thirty days before departure.
A four days or more rental discount is available at $70 per day after the first day.
Rental fee includes: paddles, PFDs, spray skirts, bailing pumps, sponges, chart, detailed written route itinerary, repair/spare parts kit, flares, cockpit covers. All equipment is top-quality.
Sleeping bags, pads and two-person tents may be rented for a nominal fee.
CANCELLATIONS
60-30 days prior to departure date a 100% refund less a $35.00 handling fee per person for guided trips or rental kayak. 30-21 days prior to departure date we will retain entire deposit unless the space is filled, in which case a $35.00 handling fee per person is charged. Within 21 days of departure date full payment is retained unless space is filled. I suggest you obtain cancellation insurance just in case.
San Juan Kayak Expeditions reserves the right to reroute or cancel any trip due to poor weather or other conditions beyond my control. In the event of a cancellation your payment will be fully refunded or you may reschedule your trip.
